It is a &quot;running course&quot;, as in running or a 100 meter race, some people winning and some people loosing... and some people just achieving the silver medal a.k.a. the 1st looser.  Then again, in the interest of sportsmanship, there is nothing wrong with loosing.  What is wrong is knowing that you didn&#039;t tried your best.</description>
